Hi forum!

I'm a 41 year old man who was diagnosed with Aspergers when I was around 30. That was right about the time when Aspergers began to get serious attention. Not getting help early on played havoc with my schooling in elementary, jr high, high school, and college. It took me around 12 years to get through college. Since graduating in 2008 with a degree in computer science, I've been struggling to find full-time work and keep it. I'm here for advice on jobs, relationships, and general life.

At 44, I very much understand where you're coming from. I've not been formally diagnosed, but my son has, and I'm certain that I have ASD, as well. It took me nine years to earn my BS in biology, and while I've been out of the workforce for years while raising my boys, I tremble a bit at the thought of attempting a return.
