Hi,

I joined the forum because I am a NT in a relationship with an AS man. We have been together a little over a year. I really like him, my feelings are getting stronger however I find myself confused and left with many questions at times. I’m doing all I can to learn and understand him and aspergers. I have been reading several books about being in a relationship with an aspergers partner. I decided to join this forum to gain further insight and also I have questions. I find it difficult to talk to my NT friends because they don’t understand AS, even when I try to explain they just don’t get it.

Hello and welcome. I've found that nobody can understand, even others with autism have their own unique perspective on things.
