Hello to you tooAhoy!
Hiya Tazz and thank you for commenting and for all the info, as much as I can find is all very welcome and is encouraging to me to see how I can move forward with this, much appreciated, thank youHi,
I was diagnosed in England at the age of 50, earlier this year. Different rules to Scotland I know. But...
This NHS website indicates that NHS Scotland should never refuse treatment based on age:
https://www.nhsinform.scot/care-sup...ccess/accessing-and-using-the-nhs-in-scotland
Independent advice and support in understanding your rights and making a complaint:
https://pass-scotland.org.uk/
Information about how to make a complaint:
https://www.nhsinform.scot/care-sup...mplaints/feedback-complaints-and-your-rights/
If your complaint is not dealt with appropriately you can contact the ombudsman:
https://www.spso.org.uk/
Maybe you already knew all that.
Hi Alexej, I'm in Dumfries & Galloway.Hi Tui
which part of Scotland are you in. I would have thought that in the central belt things were OK for getting a diagnosis.
