Hi, first post

Momo

Well-Known Larrikin
Hi, the name's Mo, I'm kind of unsure but suspect I might have Aspergers. Now that I've said it I guess I can't take it back.
I've done a multitude of online tests, all of which have come back with very high probabilities, 90% upwards, and I suppose I wouldn't be very surprised if that were the case. I've never really used social media or online forums of any kind (oddly enough since that's since teens are supposed to be attached to their phones), so I apologise if I break any unknown online etiquette and the likes.
My suspicions arose after a reading a psychologist's report from when I was younger suggesting that I have many traits relating to Aspergers, and I think it might explain why I find it very difficult to connect with people and why certain textures, such as skin on skin contact (kind of like spiders on flesh), sounds and even visual stimuli sometimes seem so overwhelming to me to the point where I can barely breathe.
I'm not really sure if I'm just overreacting or if I should seek further help, or even how I would go about that. This has now come to effect my life more majorly in recent times and I now find I have no friends at all and feel on the brink of losing all control quite often, like my ribs are suffocating me, and find it very difficult to even function on a basic level at times (eating, sleeping ect...)
Thank you for your time.

That's interesting, I didn't know that

This is how i post until my hated phone is replaced! please let it be soon!
DONT like labels never met kanner or Hans asperger
And i personally think everyone are at the same level but they incurred more physical damage
my mother had m.n.d (a.l.s) but i think because of past physical damage her form looked different to others so its very individual IM a talker its an autism trait got to stop to be sociable

Welcome to AC, Momo. For what it's worth, most people who come here suspecting they might be on the spectrum inevitably confirm it later on. You've come to the right place to explore the possibilities.
