Hi all :)

Hi, i'm Bradley (as the username says), 35. I have always been an anxious person, but i don't feel as if that seems the whole picture (if i'm completely honest with myself). In the past, my mother has jokingly said that i have Asperger's, maybe there is more to what she says then she realise? So of late i have been looking into Asperger's, etc and i have to admit i feel i relate to much of what has been written. But i'm not sure where to go or do now.. I suppose that is partly why i'm here.

Welcome Bradley. I hope you find some of the answers you are seeking here. Good luck!

Out of interest, are there any good threads regarding relationships?

I must admit i haven't really ever been in a relationship, and i find there is something rather intimidating about females/the idea of relationships. I guess i don't help myself by spending far too much time at home, though idk...

Does Dr. Tony Atwood have or associate with such an organization?

*hmm* looking at his website now, can't say i'm seeing any such an organisation mentioned, unless i have missed it.

Though i have come across a few similar organisations through google..
Asperger Services Australia Home
Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect)
Autism Awareness Australia http://www.autismawareness.com.au/

So i guess they can be starting points.

Be leery of any agency that would seek to cure Aspergers. Therapy for co-morbid conditions is fine, but if someone tries to cure the Aspergers, itself, then they don't know what they are doing.
