Help! Babylon virus!!!

Soup

Well-Known Member
I accidentally acquired the Babylon toolbar virus when downloading something else (it was a while ago so I forget what). I also wound up with the BING toolbar when downloading the VEOH media player. Even removing VEOH didn't get rid of it but I finally managed. Babylon now opens 2 freaking toolbars whenever I open my Chrome browser, greatly slowing my system.

I tried getting rid of them through my control panel but it doesn't even appear there. I tried going through Chrome to tools to removing extensions or add-ons but that doesn't work either. Does anyone have a solution to this? No anti-virus spots & removes it either.

A quick search came up with this video:

Could be worth a try?

For a last resort restore your computer to a date before you downloaded it. I got Veoh without that problem.
