My name's James, and I think I have ASD, but I don't think I have enough information to put "self diagnosed" anywhere. I'm here to learn more about it and how other people experience it, while sort of vent and get feedback. Lovely to join, see ya!

What things make you think you could have ASD? I'm 60 and was diagnosed a couple years ago which has given me a lot of relief and answers. Hope this forum helps you find what you are looking for. There's also LOTS of articles out there and on line tests that could be helpful.

Hi James - Research some articles on autism to grasp the traits that are most influenced by ASD. Also, take some of the online diagnostic tests to get a feel for the extend to which you might be dealing with ASD. Come online here often to read what issues others deal with. Learning about ASD is your best foundation for assessing and dealing with the condition. Extensive testing can be done by medical professionals. In my own opinion, it is best to have some basic, but clear, understanding of ASD before you can put it into proper perspective in your life. Also, stay connected with the posts on this forum. There is a lot of experience to be shared here - your own views as well. Welcome!
