Hello! Newly diagnosed adult

Hi there!
I am 31 years old, born female, genderfluid - diagnosed about a month ago after years of inconsistent mental health diagnoses.

I love clouds and the water, and writing poetry! I used to work in technology and did very well at it but left because I struggle to look at screens for too long. I am working on a Ph.D. dissertation, and planning a wedding!

My brother (28) was diagnosed as a child and our father (61) is self-suspecting, currently seeking a diagnosis. I am in many ways just like him.

I have a beautiful cat named after my favorite painter, Gustav Klimt, because the gold streaks in his fur remind me of the gold flecks in Klimt's paintings. We call him Gus. He is a good boy.

I am excited to talk to people and learn more about this community!

Welcome! I also was diagnosed this year at 27 after a long stretch of mental health diagnoses that didn't explain everything. The diagnoses helped me a lot. Glad it sounds like you're doing so well.
