Hello! I'm looking for advice.

Thank you for such a kind welcome! I am happy to be here. :) You all seem like awesome people.

Oh! Yes, Corwin is my actual name. I'm very happy with it. The meaning, history, and the story of how it became my name adds a lot of weight to it for me.

Yes! A diagnosis is really important to me. To be honest, it would be more like a shield. I am heavily self-critical, but have also had others be incredibly critical of me for the sake of wanting what is best for me. Burning the candle on both ends has led to a lot of self-discovery and improvement, but also an incredible amount of pressure and stress. Now, at the age of 32, I am beginning to realize that there are limits and I need those around me to understand that I can only be molded so much before it becomes unrealistic. I need to work on me from an angle that is understanding of what is hard baked into my personality and that I won't be like everyone else around me. I want the diagnosis so I can stop beating myself up for things I cannot change and to protect me from the unrealistic expectations of others, essentially.
