We think our son could possibly have Asperger's syndrome. I wanted to join to understand it more and learn from others. Sometimes, it is very hard to deal with our son who is now eight. He loves to make inappropriate sounds, is obsessed with computers and math, and really struggles socially.

it is a good thing your son is obsessed about maths. it will open up a lot of opportunities in the future.

Plus Hi and welcome Mama2asp1

Welcome :)

This is a good place to start for answers. Feel free to browse our forums, and ask questions; everyone's quite helpful around here.

I also recommend taking a look at our recommended resources page. Tony Attwood is a good author to look in to:

Welcome. :)

Wish math and computers had been my childhood obsession. Could've led to better opportunities than a library volunteer.
