Hi. I'm not on the spectrum but I'm married to an Aspie who, I think, also has PDA. He also has spastic diplegic cerebral palsy and is mobility impaired. Until recently, I worked full time but am now his full time carer. I'm here to try and learn how to communicate better with him and not become so frustrated.

What do you mean by PDA? I only know the acronym from military regulations. That being no 'Public Display of Affection'.

I am certain I have PDA, but my LHA doesn't believe in specifying any types of autism, so I can't be diagnosed or receive any support or understanding. PDA is no fun at all, it's all anxiety. :(
