Having a Frustrating and Weird Problem

You might find a lawyer (barrister or solicitor) to help. Unscrupulous behavior in research is something that I will not and cannot condone.

My son is seaking, an new employment opportunuty, So I told him I hav a contact with a headhunter who I have known for a while who will probabily recomend a position here in Brampton, where my brother was previously employed years ago. Issue is I found a house close to our location price in range for my son. Issue is trying to google location, google trys to second guess why am I looking for driving my nuts We could baby sit grand daughter, know I need to get out paper map. This is getting stupid.

Wow, that sounds incredibly frustrating. A hundred dollars might not be a fortune, but it’s the principle — you gave your time and energy, and they promised compensation. Honestly, it feels like they’re trying to bury the issue under excuses.

If I were in your shoes, I’d probably put everything in writing from now on — emails instead of calls — so there’s a clear record. And if that doesn’t move things forward, maybe even consider contacting a student ombudsman, a consumer protection office, or posting about the experience publicly to get their attention. Universities usually care about their reputation.

I really hope you get what you’re owed soon — you absolutely deserve it.
