I go to the gym in the morning, 5-6 times a week. I really enjoy lifting. It's a kind of exercise that doesn't require much socialization or motor skills unlike most sports. And it can help people with their self-esteem as it improves their physical condition and gets them fit.
I've been going for 1,5 year. I've been working out since I was 18 though, but I had to stop doing it at one time or another due to university obligations or work.
The thing is: lifting weight is something I enjoy doing. I hate running, for instance, therefore I doubt I would do it regularly for one month. My Asperger's and OCD play a role here too. I think I'd get upset if I couldn't go to the gym.
If you're considering exercising, think about an activity you might enjoy doing. If the idea of a physical activity is bad in itself, then try to find what's so terrible about it. Then try to slowly change your attitude about it. See if you can begin doing something. Once you start it, you'll find easy to commit.

Ruennsheng, if you go to a good gym, you'll get proper orientation from a certified instructor who will help you around. You'll feel comfortable in no time.
My attitude can get in the way for sure, I always have a voicing telling me "you could be doing something else" and most of the time it prevails over my fitness goals. With an increase of discipline and attitude I should have a more consistent and positive mindset.
I know what you mean. A lot of people think about the trade off. Think about the reasons you are thinking you should exercise more. Are they of greater importance than what you could do instead? Besides, most people have plenty of time to do everything.
