I found this forum during a search pertaining to service dogs and thought I would join. I am a disabled 50 year old artist/teacher with PTSD and recently informally diagnosed High Functioning Aspergers by a local psychologist. After being referred to an Autism/Aspergers specialist at a nearby university, a more formal diagnosis is expected. This has answered many, many questions pertaining to my life since childhood. Joining groups similar to this has helped me greatly to acclimate myself to this newly discovered social shelf and realize that I am certainly not alone in these issues. I look forward to participating..:-)
