Hello! I'm Teers, I'm a young woman from Michigan with high functioning aspergers (Well sort of) I have to have someone handle my money or I get in trouble. I live on my own for the most part in a transitional living apartment with my two cats, Boo and Willow. I've come to get help and research more upon Autism, as I have been asked to do a support group for my Community Mental Health branch, as a guide, since they've known me since I was just a child.

I was raised (As I always thought) normal. However at an older age looking back, my parents did tons of research and handled me greatly. They figured out what made me tick, by sheer will power. And even though they are gone, I thank them for not only raising me, but willingly taking a three year old foster girl, and adopting me when I was six.

I'm also here to meet people who have autism, and even seek some answers for myself. I look forwards to talking to you soon! I hope everyone has a great day!

Welcome, Teers.
Hope your experience here is every bit like mine.
May all beings be well.

Welcome! I’m glad you found great parents. Or maybe they found you? Either way, it’s encouraging to hear about success stories from foster children. I hope you find us to be an encouraging addition to your support.
