My name is Kupu2, or kupu-kupu, which is Indonesian for butterfly. Hardly original, but my imagination was non existant the day I joined AC.

A huge apology...I will probably blab on about myself for a bit on threads. Just for a while, so bear with me. Once I've got over the excitement of learning I'm on the spectrum (to be officially diagnosed in August), I'll be more social and less navel gazey. I've held it all in for over 40 years, so it is a big deal to know I'm real, under the crap I use as a mantle of normality.

Pleased to make your acquaintance everyone.

Hi Kupu2, and welcome :)

Ain't nowt wrong with a bit of navel gazing , please feel free to gaze away! :D

Update: sorry that I am still self-centred in my responses. And that I tend to blurt without ordering my ideas before committing them. I am usually more intelligent, articulate than I am coming across. I think it is all part of me grounding myself in this new sense of self. It has rocked my world substantially. Oh, I was diagnosed a few weeks back as being ASD level 1, or HFA. :)
