Folk metal of the world

The most common form of "folk metal" is the Nordic/Celtic strain typified by groups like Heilung or Faun:

...but folk metal also comes from Taiwan, like this bit from Nini Music:

Or the indigenous Siberian group Otyken:

I've also seen groups from Mongolia, India, and from places I can't even remember - it's all so wonderful.

I love seeing traditional instruments (often electric versions) being used in new ways!

Everything old becomes new again, eventually.

The Folk Rock group that I enjoyed is Steeleye Span, doing traditional English ballads, like those collected by Child. Here's Two Magicians. My musical tastes are pretty eclectic.
