A quick dose of information for those who aren't aware of this show: The Twilight Zone is an anthology series that presents a different story and a different set of characters in each episode, each unrelated to the other (although sometimes the same cast members would appear).
Its original series (filmed in black and white) ran in 1959 to 1964 for 5 seasons. A revived series ran from 1985 to 1989 for 3 seasons and a another revived series ran in 2002 for 1 season. Furthermore, the series had a movie (sadly made infamous by a tragic helicopter crash), radio plays and other spin-offs - including parodies on other TV shows such as various "Treehouse of Horror" episodes on The Simpsons.
Here's the original and revived series openings:
For those of you who watched the show, which episodes were your favorites?
I've got a few which I like such as A Small Talent for War, Shelter Skelter, To See the Invisible Man, A Kind of Stopwatch, Night of the Meek, etc.
If I had to pick only one, however, my favorite is probably A Message from Charity - I'm a bit of a sucker for the happier stuff in this series and it has an interesting sci-fi element to it.
