Eye contact..

I can look at people for a little while when they're talking to me, but often I end up looking just behind them, or to the side.

I do the exact same thing. Also I don't naturally think to look people in the eyes, I generally look at the floor or at a wall instead, so my mum always has to remind me and through this it has gotten better :)

Anyone here ever read a book called "Look Me In The Eye" an autobiography of a guy with Aspberger's? I've read it, you should check it out.

I have trouble maintaining eye contact for long. It makes me feel uncomfortable. I usually look to the side, or pay more attention to what is going on around me/people doing.

There's a reason that book was titled "Look Me In The Eye".

Seriously, you guys should read that out. It's a great autobiography of a guy with Aspberger's.

I learned in the military I needed to look people in the eyes. My problem now is I look so hard I bore a hole through peoples heads and peer into their souls .
