They look really cool. I've never seen eggs decorated like that before, we're not a very religious people. They reminded me of something I saw as a kid though, brightly coloured day old chickens. If you dip the eggs in food colouring then pop them back under the hen until they hatch they have feathers stained by the food colouring.
 
We got the Eggmazing this year. The kids absolutely loved it. I got some metallic Sharpies, so they made plenty of gold striped eggs. Big hit, and less messy than traditional dye.
