Do you often go out of topic?

Yes, I get off topic all the time. For me, I think it is because my mind is a very busy place. It's always full of stuff, not always complicated or profound stuff, just stuff. I have tendency to go off in another direction, sometimes upsetting those who are more organized that me. Is this a Aspie trait?

Definitely! I either go off topic, or the opposite happens, where everyone else has moved on from the topic and I keep discussing it well after its been put to rest by everyone else.

I find that I'm more often fixating on something much longer than the average person wants to discuss it. I talk it to death, going into great detail, and off into tangents that were at one point related :) I find that many people either interrupt me or get bored by the time I can even make a full statement about something. I've always found that bizarre and extremely frustrating.
