My daughter's favorite scene from my favorite movie

Sita's trial by fire from "Sita Sings the Blues", a film based on "The Ramayana of Valmiki", one of my favorite stories.

Sita, demigod daughter of mother earth is wife to Rama, an incarnation of Shiva, and king of Ayodhya. Sita is an embodiment of pure love and devotion. In Hindu folklore, she accompanies Ram everywhere and only lives to make him happy. She was kidnapped by the king of Lanka. Rama can't believe that Sita stayed true to him while in his palace, so he makes her prove her purity on a funeral pyre. This animation is a visual description of her heart's trial by fire.
