I have not been thinking much about it, but it's arrogant to believe we're the only conscious beings. our science is limited by our consciousness, and the fact that we haven't yet discovered something means only as much as that we haven't developed yet as much to detect conscious beings elsewhere.

Good! once you accept the likelihood of advanced life forms elsewhere, then the next question we can pose is how long have they been around and how evolved are they? Even if they are only several centuries more advanced, they could have discovered about worm holes and new dimensions. Given how old the universe is there's easily potential for life forms to be millions of years ahead of humans in terms of evolution. Putting limits on what these beings can/and can't do seems a bit silly really.

It's far too vast for Earth to be the only planet to have life. There's estimated to be hundreds of billions of galaxies (maybe even over 1 trillion) in the observable universe, each with hundreds of billions (possibly more) of stars within them, and who knows how many of those stars have planets around them? There's probably billions of planets out there in the cosmos with life on them - ranging from simple single-celled organisms to complex and intelligent life.

A lot of people are saying modern UAPs are just misidentified secret (black) projects conducted by US Defence agencies and Aerospace companies. For example the recent drone invasion over Jersey in December 2024, many of the drone swarms clearly had hazard lights required by the FAA. However concurrently we are not supposed to have silent SUV sized drones with no apparent propulsion system that can outfly regular aircraft. But then again whose to say secret tech has already cracked anti-gravity and free energy but the process is being kept secret?

when I was a kid my grandfather and grand-aunt (who were staunch Christians) spoke about how common it was living in rural Victoria in isolated bushland to see glowing round objects (what we today call Orbs). It was so common infact local people paid them no heed. A couple of noteworthy experiences. In 1914 my grandfather was 11 years old. He was a boy scout on camp in bushland. there were around 30 boys and a scout master in a campsite sitting near a open fire near a large river. without warning a giant 5m glowing metallic ball emerged from the river hovering not far from the camp. the children and scout master stood transfixed as the glowing object slowly hovered for several minutes before drifting higher and then in a flash shooting off into the night sky. the boys and my grandfather felt a mix of excitement and confusion. the scout master said something silly that the boys were lucky to see a spirit or fairy from the river. As the scout master came to his senses he told Grandad and the kids not to spread fibs (lies) as nobody would believe what they saw.

My grandaunt grew up in the country and as a young woman in the 1930s and she said lights would come into the cottage and chase her around the rooms seemingly like they were alive. But after a while she got used to them and they went away.

I mention these as in 1914 it had only been a decade since human beings could fly a wooden plane. whatever those things/objects were, they were 100% not man made.

I had an extremely weird encounter with a female who asked if l ate food, and she sorted floated instead of walking, her cat was like a hologram, and the room she was going tto rent to us, had a very strange ceiling like you see in those medical schools, where the students look down at the operating table. My friend and l sailed pretty fast out of there. He said she was playing the piano but her fingers didn't touch the keys. I still don't know what to think of that to this very day.

This is a very good beginning of a sci-fi novel. My advice is to go on with the story and develop it into something exiting.

All the other "higher order" biological life on Earth are also sentient. Plants, fungi, insects, etc. have sensory systems and communicate with each other...as do other microscopic creatures. However, "sentience" and "consciousness" and "awareness" are interrelated, sometimes used interchangeably. When speaking of the physical world-bound consciousness...in some cases it may be the same...in some cases quite different. Some have claimed that consciousness is something that is not biological...that is to say, not bound by the physical world...it can be decoupled. It is primarily bound to the physical world when our bodies are alive...with some exceptions that go beyond this discussion. If you can look at it from that perspective, it opens up your world to other possibilities. If there is a God and have even a rudimentary understanding of the meanings behind the great religious texts...then you understand this already. As a person of science, highly bound by those rules and my 5 senses, it's been a process of acceptance, learning, and faith that there is something more to discover.

So we need to remember to tread softly on the earth, and with other people's hearts.

We cannot allow our base biological and psychological needs for dopamine and feeling good to allow us to travel dark paths...creating enemies to persecute, for example. We are in the midst of some dark times. Keeping ourselves grounded is going to be important if humanity is to survive.

Despite this, the CIA and DOD insist UAPs are man-made. Also they are very careful to not acknowledge sightings prior to 2003 so the UAP phenomena is deliberately forced into a historic period of drone technology development. what is disappointing is lack of scientific interest.

At this stage the earliest we can confirm bacteria on Mars is 2033. My guess is when they do examine rock samples from probes NASA will say "unknown".
