Do you believe there's extraterrestrial life out there?

So, why extraterrestrials don’t contact us? Well, whom would they be contacting? Considering the current war climate on every continent, the Earth governments are likely to ask them for advanced weapons or at least for knowledge leading to production of these weapons. This is a nonstarter.

Maybe, they have contacted private citizens, but what kind of material proof of the contact a person can give? If they contact me, I’ll ask for a piece of extraterrestrial technology not leading to production of weapons of any kind. Would they give me anything of this kind? Only time will tell.

^^^ Religion and manifest destiny has certainly given many groups on our planet an inflated sense of self-importance. It feeds the concept, particularly prevalent in medieval Christianity, Confucianism and Islam (but not restricted to) that a) the universe revolves around the earth (middle earth or middle kingdom) and b) god or gods are only focused on "our" group (insert group/tribe).

I think this self-importance and arrogance is a big factor in why even scientists scoff at advanced life in space, they point (like medieval priests) at the sky and say "see! Enrico Fermi, Seti and our best telescopes all prove what we've known all along, the universe is empty" "we are the gods", "this was all created just for us."

A plausible theory is aliens started showing up around the time of the Manhatten project and when Oppenheimer was playing with nuclear bombs. During actual bomb testing UAPs were seen around the nuclear plumes.

During the UAP disclosure hearings organised by Dr Stephen Greer at the Washington Press club back in 2003, hundreds of military eyewitnesses from nuclear facilities both in the US and Europe/Russia testified under oath seeing UAPs regularly monitoring facilities and even switching off ICBMs during testing. Fast forward to the current UAP hearings in Congress and again nuclear powered ships and nuclear facilities remain a hotbed of UAP activity.

It would seem our alien friends are keen we don't blow ourselves up. Like a parent watching small children playing with firecrackers.

It's not just nuclear facilities they like, now. Since last year about this time, I have seen some anomalies. What's new in the area? xAI facility was built. There have been some strange storms in the area, as well. I'm no stranger to aircraft, as I work with them daily (it's the dayjob). I'm further in no way a stranger to storms. Tornado chasing is a real thing, and the vast flat, farmlands make them easy to spot. What's odd is....almost exactly over that same facility, when storms roll through or just pop up, the lightning is crazy and stays right in that one area. It's not bits and pieces or here and there lightning, either. It's one after another kinds of lightning that just goes and goes for an hour or more before just stopping entirely.

I want to be wrong, but these things are so obviously different from what was the norm / before. There are others saying the same things, as well, so I know it's not just me. Per the usual, though, no one can get these questions even presented in official fashion. You see or hear nothing of it on the news.

Yes not just nuclear. It's curious the recent drone swarms that beset Jersey in December 2024 is now happening over major European cities. Ironically Poland and Denmark are blaming the Russians claiming Putin is trying to intimidate these countries for supporting Ukraine.

the problem is why? For example where do you launch hundreds of Russian drones to travel all the way to Copenhagen? And of course witnesses are reporting same "exotic" drones seen in the US last year, SUV sized craft making no noise with no obvious propulsion.

I very much doubt the Russians have this type of tech (otherwise they would be using them in Ukraine). So who launched these?

Looking forward to it, do you think NASA will experience a technical fault if it turns out to be a mother ship?

Something just wacked Atlas. Billion tons on Ni floating around some will come to earth sure could use it pure no refining.

NASA is not collecting data due to shutdown. waiting for Opp's moment sorry lost data.

The US government claim that they were unable to tack drones for variety of reasons, as a government scientist told 60 minutes (a popular news program). I understand that shouting them down is dangerous because they fly in densely populated areas. The reason why aircraft cannot follow them makes no sense to me because they fly slow, as the radar data shows, they are not superfast UFOs. The best way to determine the drone points of departure is to use satellite data. However, the scientist said nothing about the satellite images of drones.

Craziest thing I asked my brother about Atlas he knew nothing about it He spent his career working as a millwright so when he retired he took a volunteer position maintaining a telescope in the city of Richmond hill north of Toronto This telescope was decommissioned years ago open to the public for tours. He is in contact with many amateur astronomer due to this. My brother is a camera buff so he discusses equipment with the amateur astronomers.

In the Kalingrad district. It's a short time by plane to Kopenhagen from there. Also from a boat on the Baltic Sea.

Drones are too small to be tracked by satellites, that's the whole point of drones, they're small and hard to detect. Yet, they can be armed.

I would be rational and not underestimate people. People aren't dumb. Quite smart ones are working on this whole hybrid war with Russia. At least for Russians, it pays off.

Reading this thread I'm coming to the conclusion that I must be an alien too ;) Even the big skull fits ;)

A developing story that has to be keeping all the defense departments of NATO members buzzing:

I suppose, but I would have thought Putin would have bigger fish to fry?
