I won't argue with you there. Any time the legal standard is "I'll know it when I see it" you're on a slippery slope. Maybe I should have said the quote was infamous rather than famous but in this case, I think it applies :p
 
I definitely seek out (and in its absence, miss) affection. So does my ASD3 daughter* and ASD2 son.
My mother's family was very physically affectionate, particularly with hugs. (I am uncomfortable with it outside of an established closeness, though.)

*I dote on said daughter and she is happy for that.
