COVID Vaccine: What to expect

I had some swelling and tenderness in my arm for about a week after I got the vaccines for the first time. Seriously hurt to have anything touch that arm for a bit.

No reactions at all when I got my first booster shot though.

And then my most recent booster (which I got a few weeks ago), I just had a bit of soreness where the needle went in the next day and that was it.

My original doses and booster were Pfizer but my second booster was Moderna btw.

I had the 1st and 2nd Pfizer shots. Had a sore arm both times and felt like I was coming down with something for a day, both times and it triggered my migraines pretty bad. I also had a change in my menstrual cycle. I was every 29 days, like clockwork before....and after, I had a shorter cycle for a couple months. Several other women I know had the same experience with a change in their cycle. I am not planning on getting the current booster because it is only targeted to one variant, and I don't feel like dealing with migraines for a week right now. So I just wear a mask when needed....which is increasing in frequency in NYC. All of the hospitals and doctor offices I work in or visit require masks again.

Pfizer. AB-.

Sore arm. Headache. Fatigue.

All lasting only a single day.

I get mine on Fridays so I have an excuse to be lazy all day Saturdays.

;)
