Do you love smoking a massive swanky cigar, or do you wish all those cancer sticks were wiped off the face of the planet?

I've never smoked tobacco in my life and I never will.

I'm not opposed to people smoking weed, using psychedelics responsibly (especially if those things are medicinal), and drinking alcohol responsibly, but I really wouldn't encourage anyone to smoke tobacco. Especially not cigarettes.

I recognize that having a cigar once in a blue moon is not the same thing as being dependent on cigarettes though.

A "friend" tried to get me to smoke. I don't think I looked very "cool" when hacking and coughing.....
Some cigars don't smell particularly bad- sort of a sweet smell. Cigarettes simply have a nasty harsh acidic smell.

Only after a big win. :) Since cigars are not inhaled, I don't really see it as smoking.

This is pretty much mine as well. If people want to do it responsibly then that doesn't affect me so I'm fine with it.

Having a mother who was addicted to smoking however has made me never want to so much as touch anything tobacco related.

I like pipes way better than cigars, to be honest. It's easier to keep up with and I don't have to spend oceans of money, and be so careful for storage, just to be able to smoke occasionally.

Good cigars are the ones that taste decent and which one is offered by a friend.

I have one nice cigar after the successful completion of a trip. My preference is a premium, well aged, Toscano.

Haven't smoked a cigar this year. I normally have a few each year.

I've also pondered pipe smoking. Not sure why there's a draw towards it. Unfortunately being doubled up with a lot of smokers in this care job - my desire to smoke tobacco again has been reignited (pardon the pun).

Mind you, drinking cravings have gone through the roof since starting this job too.

I tried cigars over a summer many years ago after I'd quit smoking cigarettes. That summer I worked near a fine cigar store and my manager at my job really got into them and was a resource and guide for my foray. I never really enjoyed them that much. My manager did give me an authentic Cuban that had a green leaf wrapper (aka candela). It was very smooth and the most enjoyable of the bunch.

That being said I hate the smell of cigar smoke almost as bad as the smell of cigarette smoke.

If I was going to sit down for a "smoking session" which is what the duration of a cigar requires, I would hands down rather smoke a joint than any cigar.

Cuban Cohibas are love and life.

I smoked one two weeks ago.

Forget Swisher Sweets.

I have a very negative sensitivity to the smell of anything related to nicotine.

I find it more offensive than skunk spray smell.

I smoke my pipes more, but i do have ~50 sticks in my humidor right now. My issue is having 1+ hours outside (in decent weather) to smoke a cigar, since there is nowhere here that you can do so indoors.

My friend gave me a beautiful old pipe for Christmas and I'm enjoying that with an envelope of good tobacco he recommended. It's a Rhodesian branded as "Aldo Velani," an old budget brand which was actually made in the same plant as the Savinelli pipe. As it has a thick wall and a deep bowl it will go for quite awhile before I have to set it aside.
