Certified Nurse's Assistant. So like the person in the hospital who would check on you when the doctor and nurses are busy- take vitals, change bedding, help with bathing, dispense meds, bring food, that kind of thing.

I live alone and do not have an aide or anything. Sometimes family helps out because I am often short for cash. Other than that I work & support myself.

Would probably be more independent if I can figure out what's wrong with me deep down that _isn't_ autism. Still hoping to figure that one out.
 
Right now my partner has renal failure to the point they need dialysis, so l had to do everything for the first couple of months. It's difficult at times. I feel overstretched.
 
Our choice was not on the list.
My wife & I are full-time caregivers of our ASD3 daughter [30]. We are allowed to collect a nominal fee from her estate, but it is not a full wage.
