Can People use Their Brains These Days?

Clearly, I have no choice but to follow that up with this:

Even as I post this, I recognize that nobody is going to have a bloody clue what I'm referring to. But that'll just have to do. I made my bed and now I'll just have to lie in it, wont I?
 
Folk don't have to use their mental skills in some of the same ways they used to.
There's likely to be an app or search engine to do some of the work for us.

My daughter only has to verbally instruct a gadget in her home to do the processing her brain may once have.
- eventually she'll lose the mental ability and have to relearn it at some point.

We no longer have to remember strings of information such as telephone numbers. Our phones or gadgets do that for us.

It isn't that people can't use their brains,
sometimes they choose not to.
