I wonder if this is what Spiders hear when they're tugging on their silk threads, since all those wooden fingers make me think of spiders.

I know it's a machine, but it looks alive, and as if it knows what it's doing.
 
This isn't the best photo I've taken, but I thought it was amazing to see the spider with its front legs precisely on the radial threads. The spider is probably about .25cm and I didn't notice until I saw the image on a large screen. It reminded me of this instrument and what @AGXStarseed said.
