Back after a long hiatus

Mattymatt

Imperfectly Perfect
Greetings everyone, I've come back after a long hiatus and hope everyone is doing well. It's been a tough couple of years. My weight skyrocketed and I developed Type 2 Diabetes. So now, I am dealing with physical (as well as mental) health issues. On the upshot, I was able to get disability and I qualified for bariatric surgery. It's sad ... I need to lose 176 pounds. Depression, anxiety, and eating created the perfect storm. I've finally settled on a career that I can hopefully do for the rest of my life. I got approval through my state's Vocational Rehabilitation to go to school for PA Act 235 which will let me do armed security. Armed is a WHOLE lot better because it attracts a higher quality applicant. I did unarmed for a little bit and it was for the birds. I could never rely on my relief to come on time or at all.

shalom I'm new

Welcome back :)

I had bariatric surgery a few years back, best thing I ever did.
