Hey everyone,

Autism Forums has a new owner. Since we took over the site, it has been absolutely awesome watching it grow and the work that @Nitro and @tree have done to make it possible.

I have decided to move on from the site but I have found someone who is incredibly excited about taking the forum over and putting the time in to make it a great resource going forward.

@Satal is an individual who cares about this topic and forum and wants to keep it thriving. I honestly could not be happier that we found an individual and not a company to take this forum over.

I want to thank you all for making this an incredible resource and I have enjoyed watching this site grow since 2013. I look forward to watching that continue now that we have handed over the reigns to @Satal

Please take some time to say hello to him and he will be here shortly to introduce himself to all of you.

I am a long time user of this site, i am high-functioning autistic/Aspergers (diagnosis was a little tricky for me as a kid), and i just wanted you to know, I am and always will be eternally grateful for this place. When i first started search for a forum for autism patients I couldn't find squat until one day Google just randomly tossed this place to me.

I have made so many friends here and I'm sorry i never got to know you, Brent. You have done this world a great service. Godspeed.

I'm very new. I've read hundreds of threads in IT forums over the years, looking for an answer to a computer problem I would be having but this is my first forum I'm participating in. At the moment, it's not easy to participate but everyone has been very welcoming & I so appreciate that. So, as everyone has already said, welcome @Satal & I'm optimistic in being able to participate more, in the near future. Well, I hope so anyway. I tend to fluctuate atm, but really want to continue on this journey with everyone.

@Brent has given us a new life. But I'll always be stuck in the past, that's just me.

@Nitro may be low on patience, unlike cool headed @clg114, but that what makes him ready to deal with anything before it gets out of hand. I think we all learned the hard way not to cross him.

@tree is 24\7 a listener, a problem solver and a calming presence, but despite this I have the feeling I'll never truly know her. Sometimes I wonder how she holds it together and still be perfect and efficient every day.

@Satal is peculiar, warm hearted, open-minded, mysterious, preparing like the paternal figure we need, and takes care of business and stays in the shadows.
