Autism motivational quotes of the day

"You cannot hurt a person who is okay with not being accepted, invited, included, or considered. Be that person."

The moment you stop seeking approval, you become untouchable.

You move on your own terms.

You validate yourself.

No one can use rejection to break you.

Laziness kills ambition
Anger kills wisdom
Fear kills dreams
Ego kills growth
Jealousy kills peace
Doubt kills confidence

Now read that right to left

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Reinhold Niebuhr, Lutheran theologian (1892–1971)

“I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them.” - Andy Bernard

I stumbled across this quote on a car forum tonight.

I don’t mean things like “The 80s was the greatest decade ever”. I mean more on an individual level.

Like as I’ve said before, it felt like it totally sucked at the time, but looking back, those times I was alone were my most productive and memorable times. Getting with someone put the brakes on that. Not just once, but every time.

So the only way I know whether or not it’s currently the good old days is from experience. And after nearly 2 decades of hell, it kind of is the good days again. Alone in my house, answering to nobody. My health is lacking now so it’ll never be as good as it was, but I’ve learned to resist temptation and stay alone. Or I’ll be looking back once again about how I messed up the good old days. At the moment I’m lacking motivation because of the weather, but the quote was a reminder I need to try harder to change that. None of us know how much time we have left.
