hmmmmm not quite sure I can go along with this. I'm a skeptic.
That's OK. Most of us have been "programmed" to believe in materialism... that is, all things can be explained by science... mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc. I was too, until very recently.
The Telepathy Tapes series... season 1... explores the very well known fact (within the community) that many of our non-verbal, apraxic, autistic brothers and sisters have this gift of not only tapping into the frequencies that allow for shared consciousness with loved ones, teachers, therapists, etc. but many are able to share this experience with other non-speakers at what they call "The Hill"... in some form of alternate realm... a non-physical "chat room"... and some have the ability to communicate with others who have left the physical world... angels. They don't have to be in the same zip code, state, or country. So this series digs into what is going on here... trying to obtain some rational explanation, because they are consistently 100% correct in their testing. It's as if this telepathy is their first language... frankly, because they don't have the fine motor skills for verbal speech. They seem to think it is one of the savant skills... knowledge (mathematics, physics, music, art, literature, etc.) that is obtained without ever being exposed to it in the physical world. So... there's that.
Then, season 2 begins to explain other phenomenon such as near death experiences and the research into this. There are entire texts... official records... from many cultures that go back thousands of years. In addition, it would appear that NDEs are not as uncommon as one may think. If you work in healthcare long enough, you will witness these events... thousands of documented cases. Combined, they give the religious foundations for what most of us have been told describing the "afterworld".
Basically... when all put together, highly suggests that our consciousness, our spirit, our soul, our light body... whatever you want to call it... is, for the most part, bound to our physical body here in the physical world. When our physical body dies, then it is unbound and moves on to this other realm we call "Heaven, Paradise, Valhalla, etc." What is also true is that some, like many non-speakers, have the ability to also unbind their consciousness and visit these other realms. Some indigenous cultures have religious practices where they use psychedelic compounds to also do this. Some are skilled at transcendental meditation and can also do this.
So, for us materialists, it's not about totally tearing down that paradigm, as it is the acceptance of something "additional". Both truths can exist together.
