like all pictures of cats.

i just don't see how these cats relate to
asperger's??? *shrug*

why are they asperger's cats? can

I've got this book, it's a really good way of explaining it to someone whose completely new to the topic. I also have the book All Dogs Have ADHD, which I'm giving to my brother for his birthday.

Did you read the text that goes along with
the pictures in the video? It's quotes &
paraphrases from the book, All Cats Have Asperger's.

This seems to anthropomorphize cats, the pictures show a cat in a position that would indicate some sort of stereotypical Asperger's trait. It's a basic depiction for someone who wishes to comprehend some autistic traits, without any background knowledge.

The cats and the still shots are associated with certain behaviors that cats and people with Autism have, not wanting to be touched at times, becoming startled by loud noises, general associations popularized in a book called 'All Cats have Asperger's.' It's a introduction, juxtaposing cat imagery with autism traits, likely to make these traits more comprehensible to the general population.

The behavior of cats is very similar to the behavior of those with Asperger's Syndrome. I don't think the video made that point clear. I think it's taken for granted that the viewer has some prior knowledge of the book, All Cats Have Asperger's.
 
If we are on the forefront of the next stage in evolution as some think, then I wonder if our future survival may depend on having certain feline traits.
