Would anyone be up to making a small club within this community to discuss films?

The idea would be to watch 1 film each week, and discuss it from sunday to sunday. I suggest following a pre-existent list: An entry-level guide to Art-house Films, and watching them in the order they appear. For example, next week we would discuss The 400 Blows, the following week 8 1/2, and so on.

I might like this. Roomie and I were discussing movies to watch. I can see if they would like to partake. I have no TV so it would be contingent on house agreement. But it is a GREAT idea!!!

I might participate, but availability of the titles may be an issue. I would prefer if they are free. If they are for rent, I'd want it to be a small amount on a streaming subscription I already have, namely, Netflix or Amazon Prime, or Youtube (free version, not Youtube TV).

Edited to add: several of the movies on that linked list I have already seen, but not discussed, since much of my art house experience I was going solo.

I will second what @GadAbout said. Not everyone has the amount of money needed to rent the movies.

Well, it's the internet, you can always "find them" for free. I think most of those should be available.
