Another one

Yup I'm another one. They didn't call it that when i was evaluated, but the similarities are unmistakeable.
In my case it's not a handicap, it's something very different. I learned to control it as a teenager. I use it in the creative process. I'm that 1% that they don't talk about, the other side of the coin.

Still , there are issues much like the ones I read about here. It's just that mine are much more manageable.
With a good bit of caution and care I used it to my advantage.

Enough for now. I'll be hiding in the woodwork. :-)

Welcome! On here, there is no "just another one"...we are all unique in our own regards; I daresay we vary as much among ourselves as do those in the "Neurotypical" population. :)

Welcome, Gary.

Sounds like we have a bit in common. With a lot of work, I've managed to harness my most useful AS traits and make a good career. Looking forward to learning your story, so don't let us down and hide out. There are lots of creative types here who could use the kinship and maybe some advice. You'll get a lot from the group as well. There's always more to learn, and this is a lovely place to do it.
