Fortunately none of the Australian ones are lethal, they still hurt though.

(Lundehund means Puffin Dog, they come from Værøya Island, it's one of the worlds rarest dog types)

Sadly that picture is of the last known living specimen, 80 years ago. Every now and then people claim that they've seen another one though.

I had plenty of experience with these in the tropics. Their bite is extremely painful. They're especially attracted to people wearing light blue clothing.
