[American TV] The Rookie...

Nope. In fact any time I see actor Nathan Fillion in something new, I find it depressing.

Reminds me of when Fox cancelled his show "Firefly" many years ago. Gunsmoke and Star Trek wrapped up in the same package. I loved the concept, but it never got past a first season.

Most cop shows (The Rookie) on the other hand, I find to be "a dime a dozen".

I am very interested in watching The Rookie, just because I like Nathan Fillion. I watched Castle all the way through for the same reason. Generally, I'm excited to see anything that the former cast of Firefly is in - it just makes me happy to see them successful in something else.

I won't watch The Rookie yet because I don't like to watch TV shows that are still on the air - I like to wait until the show is over so I can google how good the ending was (e.g. Does it end on a cliffhanger because it was canceled suddenly? Is the ending unsatisfying?). ... And so I don't have to wait for the next episode or next season.

So, @Crossbreed, is The Rookie good?
