Ahh Hi.

I'm just a high functioning weirdo that writes for a living.

School did not go well for me growing up, but my grandfather got me into writing on a Tandy computer when I was young. I'm not 100% sure, but I think 7 of my books were published before I graduated in 1999.

I own a tinny publishing company that I use to publish my books.

Hello. Welcome to Autism Forums! Congratulations on your books. May I ask what topics you like to write about? I like writing too.

I mostly write drama, but also do some short stories and poems.

It should of been tiny, but there is nothing better than laying under a tin roof in the rain for writing.

Greetings from one who has often jumped in head first and described myself as a tad weird to NTs so as to get the strange looks, that I often invoke in others, out of the way as soon as possible.

I earned my living at writing as well, but it was in a language only computers could understand. :D

May you find the web site as informative, relaxing, and enjoyable as I have in my short time here.

Welcome!

Hi Bob and welcome to the forums.

I am fascinated by your "tiny publishing company". How did you do that? Is it able to support you financially?

Welcome @WasItBob , A lot of my career was writing reports from testing pharmaceutical processes that was required by the FDA. This was technical writing but also a legal document with my name associated with it.

@MyLifeAsAnAspie I grew up in a bad house hold and ended moving in with my grandparents in my early teens. He spent a lot of time with me and with lots of work helped my understand the way my brain worked and put it to use. I have been more than able to support my family very well off my books and I'm sure my 2 kids (17 & 19) take over the publishing company it will also support them if they work it out right.
@Gerald Wilgus I would never be able to do that type of writing. Most of my writings are useless with out a good editor.

I would like to thank you all for the kind welcome.

Really neat intro. Look forward to hearing your input and ideas. Welcome.

Hi and welcome, good to hear you are doing ok financially, self employment can be a great way forward if you find the right niche. It's good that you found us, hope you will feel free to join in discussions and share your ideas and views.
