Achievable and close, but will it be close enough?

So, hubby said outright that he could not afford a new car for me. I got that because these particular cars are very expensive new, as is all "unusual things". They are called: voiture sans permis; basically one does not need a license for them, due to the reduced speed and reduced areas to drive ie moter way( highway). He said that the only option was for a rickety thing but very reluctant to get one, due to them not lasting a long time.

Well I had a theory and put it to my instructor ( when I was taking a few lessons) and he agreed that the most users of these cars, are drunks!!!!! So they lose their license and can pop along to this car shop and purchase a car without license and still drive! What the heck is the point of having one's license taken away, if they are still allowed to drive eh? Anyway, I digress. I said that I bet they run the engine to its limit and thus, the car is ruined and he agreed with me. Well I am not going to do that.

The problem is that once I discovered I can drive, I have now got the burning desire to keep up with it, but my own solution was to learn the French highway code and quite honestly, that was not a viable option for me.

Well, I was chatting with a friend, who was explaining how she came by her beautiful little flat and mentioned: laboncoin and said that is how she discovered her flat and why not try for a voiture sans permis? So I did and wow is all I can say! ACHIEVABLE and found out recently, that my husband had put quite a bit of money into another account for emergencies.

The horrible part is that at first he was closed book and kept going on about not being able to afford even a second hand one, which I hasten to add, was at a price structor that he himself put and how due to two of our elders coming over to see us, monday ( priests), he has said that obviously his hand is being forced and said give it 6 month's to a year!!!!!!!! Well, I tried to outline the benefits for him, but nope, he would not listen.

I just hope our two spiritual brothers can get him to realise that I am not asking for something unreasonable!

I am scared because this will open so many doors for me that will hugely benefit my life and married life!!
