Completed in 1928, the building has experienced three major incidents of damage - during the Battle of Manila in WWII, and in 1996 and 2023 fires. The most recent one gutted its inside. I call it Rainbow Town cos every time I've ever traveled through, there was a rainbow in the sky.

It's one of the prettiest places I've ever been. That ridge over the valley. And the big sky. If you know, you know.

Yreka is a neat old town. Siskiyou County has many old small towns. The Scott Valley area is one of my favorite places to visit.
