A-Z Places

Antietam National Cemetery, Sharpsburg, Maryland. Originally dedicated as a resting place for those fallen in the 1862 battle, the cemetery has continued to serve later veterans and their spouses. Several internments have even taken place in this century, even though it was officially closed in 1953. Of the 5,000 people buried here, over 1,800 are unidentified.

Chrysler Building, Manhattan. When completed in 1930, it was the world's tallest building, but it only held that distinction for eleven months, surpassed by the Empire State Building. It is still the tallest steel-supported brick building.

Grand Hotel International Prague, a four-star hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. It's had various names, changing with each new owner, since opening in 1957.
