Hello, thought I would give this site a try! I came from WrongPlanet, but was having difficulty with the format.

A little bit about me: I'm 27, queer, starting to identify as agender, Childfree, white, able-bodied, but have some comorbid mental health issues. I finally got my official ASD (Level 1) Dx last summer, and since then have been doing a lot of reading and joining groups to get to know myself and others better.

I've been feeling very distanced from my past SIs due to depression (or possibly even a side effect of SSRIs), but I'm trying to get out there and enjoy things again. I enjoy Ren Faires / fantasy / sci fi / cosplay / masquerades / burner events / basically any excuse to dress up in costume. I play violin and listen to a lot of metal. :imp: I'm really scrawny/weak, so I'm trying to do a lot of strengthbuilding at the gym! Surprisingly for an aspie, I'm a very adventurous eater - food is one of my SIs.

I live in NYC, and am especially interested in making IRL women/femme/nonbinary friends who are also neurodivergent. <3

Hello and welcome to AspiesCentral. I hope you enjoy it here and make some new friends.

Welcome to AC! I grew up being a very picky eater. Now I will eat anything, well almost anything. I do have limits. I hope you feel comfortable here. No one bites (that I know of).

Welcome. Like virtually any food besides poultry and most cheeses.

Also like to do strength training, the feeling I get afterwards is a calming power.
