A Weird Question

I have the tendency to draw all different types. Some people just tell me their deepest darkest secrets, l am seen as very non-threatening. And l truly don't break confidences. I usually get stuck with dealing with the public in some way or other, however l am quite comfortable being the only employee with no interaction except phone or email. But the things co-workers confess to me always surprises me.

^^This^^

A quiet, Stoic, observing man sitting in the corner of a room alone is often a magnet for the confident/outgoing female. Curiosity, I suppose, maybe opposites attract, but could also be an "alpha" female looking for a partner.

There is a saying amongst men that the most dangerous person in the room is often the man who sits, observes, and just wants to be left alone. He could be the "alpha", so don't fool around and find out.
Or such an individual may not be stoic at all but rather just sitting off to themselves lost in some daydream.😅

I'm not particularly drawn to quietness. I'm drawn to handsome faces. maybe it's harder to get the attention of someone that is not quiet because they are already pre-occupied or made their decision of who they are interested in. I used to be more quiet, and sometimes, still am, and a lot of people aren't interested in me. or they want to know my personal business, but don't care about me as a person. So, in this sense, even though I feel decent looking, I feel physically ugly to many around me.

I mask by being quiet, however when I get comfortable can quickly become the most interesting person in the room.

I will also add that being the "closed book" type, it means that curiosity gets people more than usual. It's a double-edged sword, though - on one hand, you get those who "don't" want to judge a book by it's (closed) cover - on the other hand, you get the really nosey types, haha.

I don't know that I was destined to be the quiet type, but if so, I think it has to do with the fact that I am rather one to not mingle, rather I sit back and study folks because I have learned that's very important. Also, two movies come to mind, immediately:

Ronin - the opening scene where Robert DeNiro leaves the diner but has to get his hidden gun before riding off. He makes it a point to say that he never walks in some place he doesn't know how to walk out of... haha.

A Quiet Place - the fact that I would survive, lol.

I'm drawn to a soft heart and a shy awkwardness combined with a handsome face. Intellect is typically preferred, but exceptions could be made for someone who's personality is sweet enough. When my own personality is in INTP mode, intellect is a vital trait for them to have, but when my personality shifts into ENFP/INFP mode, it becomes less important. A soft heart is preferred during both modes
