A Theory About Introversion, Extroversion, and Autism

Do you need to do an online test, so you know you can eat?

I guess all I really need is to simply understand LIFE...

Sadly I don't think there is a test that I can take to help me understand it... Instead, it seems we have to live the test itself in real time. Some times I don't think I am doing very well at passing that test... but I am trying.

Maybe all of us here are trying just a little more than those who don't even have any worries in life... Maybe sometimes, I am a little envious of people who just seem to go through life with no glitches . : )

They seem. Because a lot of times we are seeing a facade, not reality.

No denying it is easier to be born with qualities society pays a person to have, like rich parents or charisma.

I went to a women's retreat once, and one of the stories told was from one of the pastors at my church, and how nicely this other woman's multitude of children were dressed at church, how she seemed to have them handled perfectly, how she always seemed poised and ready for anything. Basically she seemed to have life all together and was doing stellar at it. Then one day she gets a call from this woman. The kids are being brats, the house is a mess, and she can't find a single bit of time for herself and she was losing her mind. She needed a little extra help. And my pastor realized at that point that this woman had the same problems as everyone else, she just managed to show a different face to the world. Of course, the pastor went and helped her out, not just as a pastor but one woman to another.

Point is, I think everyone has struggles. Some maybe more than others. But I don't think anyone actually goes through life without glitches. Some people are just better at hiding theirs. Personally, I think everyone would think my brother and sister have it easy in life, but I've seen the other side of them fraught with worry or having nervous breakdowns. It reminds me that they're going through hard times too, they're just handling it a little better than I am.

I found it uncanny how much of the descriptions of INFJ and INTJ were accurate about me and my "aspie" friend. But I think he is actually somewhere in between the two as he is a deeply feeling person, just unable to express it I think due to his EXTREME introversion.
I have wondered if my Aspie tendencies actually make me answer the questionnaire in a way not intended by the creators, thereby landing me as INFJ, but really, it's just a partial reflection of my Aspieness?
