I've been on a bit of a creative stint for a few months with multiple little projects on the go here and there, although before this year I'd not really been doing much in the way of art as I've always been more of a photographer than any kind of artist.
These are some of my latest projects...
My first proper sculpt with clay, a Leopard Gecko
I also made a plant pot holder for my Pokémon Go obsessed mum lol
My niece got me a 3D pen for my birthday so I've been putting it to use. I made my niece a picture of her dog, this is the unfinished version as I also made a background with his name on it.
She also asked if I could paint him, I don't ever paint usually but gave it a shot as she asked for black and white so could just plot it by shade rather than colour.
I made my friend a Care Bear for his birthday last month with the 3D pen, and also made it glow in the dark...
For myself I made some glow in the dark Boos!
And I'm also making some pieces inspired by my time in South Africa...
I made a Zebra picture based on a particularly cheeky girl who lives on the reserve I visit...
Then had the image 3D printed by a friend...both PLA and resin
The first PLA prototype fridge magnet
and resin print
I'm going to cast a mould of it and and experiment with resin and different coloured inks so I can make unique multiples of it.
I've done a rhino which I'm hoping we'll be able to do the same thing with.
