A couple of pictures I took recently. One today and the other, a few days ago

This is pretty amazing, what I discovered about this picture.

I first noticed a face in the wall and then, a gust of wind appeared and the flowers in front, swayed to one side and the face disappeared and so it was the SHADOW of the flowers, that caused the face!

The other picture is actually the building of a library, but this just blows my mind and I could seriously just spend all day staring at it lol

Hey, Suzanne, I also love the Escher-style artwork, but I'm fascinated by the face-in-the-wall type photos - it's a phenomenon known as pareidolia:

Pareidolia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A version of this is heirophany - manifestations of the sacred, when people see Christ's face in a piece of toast, or the word Allah in a fruit. Considering it's a well known cognitive process by now, it's still always a very striking thing to see and it's amazing how many people will flock to an incident of the Virgin Mary appearing in the window of a building, or whatever.

A well caught example by you! :)
