3 year old dies in the cold

Poor baby. :(

Having a toddler of my own, I can't even remotely fault his parents for "negligence" or any other dumb comments they are bound to get. Kids are wicked smart, and it is really hard to find those fancy child-proof gadgets to put on doors. Even then, some kids figure out child-proofed items faster than adults. It seems the only way to keep kids in sometimes is to barricade the door with something so heavy they have no hope of moving it, getting around it, or getting squished by it either. And then the adults can't get out either!

Couldn't read; too upsetting.

I am surprised, Penguin that you would suffer; that the cold was your friend:p

There is a fine line for me. Any thing below -10C I consider cold. The weather that kid was in is extream, but there are many places it gets colder than -60C.
