    I got 8,500 steps in this morning before I went to work. Now the plantar fasciitis in my right foot is starting to act up.

    The local LGBTQIA meetings are funny because everyone is very polite to each other and the conversations are intelligent.

    People feel more detached, everybody is just striving to stay alive, pay their bills, and most people stay on their phones, limiting actual connections. Friends can be hit or miss.

    The original novel is quite interesting. Crichton always incorporated scientific and mathematical concepts into his novels. Jurassic Park was based on chaos theory, and IIRC had something to do with fractal geometry too.

    It's not a competition that you have to win against anyone else, or even the elements - especially the elements. You do the best you can every day and try to improve the next day. If today, it's hot and humid outside, and the best you can do is to eat well and maybe walk for 20 minutes after the sun goes down that's enough then.

    Woke up an hour ago, could not go back to sleep. I started doing some laundry and now I am ready to pass out again. I hope this does not happen often.

    I just did an hour of brisk walking before I got home from work. Now I am hydrating and getting ready to take a shower before I prepare a healthy dinner of beans, brown rice, veggies and hot sauce.

    I did 20 minutes of intense strength training this morning. Less intense than what I did a week ago, though. I am starting off slower than what I had hoped would be possible.
